How many Bullys are afraid of..

The Vacuum!! Alright first off will someone please tell me if it spelled VACCUM OR VACUUM?
Anyway Zoey HATE'S it. I just touch the door knob to the closet I keep it in and she goes crazy! Is it a bully thing or is mine the only crazy one!

We call it THE MONSTER!!!!!

Both dogs go nuts over the vacuum....They bite it and then run away and bite and run away..etc... Now they go in to the bedroom while I vacuum the living room ad=nd vice versa... I have lost quite a few hoses...that is our best bet!!! and lots cheaper

Archie HATES Dyson!!!!!

When I vacuum, I have to carry a spray bottle of water because Archie runs up and bites Dyson on the tire. This is unusual as Archie consists of over 96% wimpoid tissue. However, when it comes to his "arch" enemy, Dyson, it is no holds barred. We assume it is because Archie blames Dyson for his seasonal flank alopecia... Spring side baldness. He blames Dyson for secretly sucking his hair off. So, until Archie can cough up enough dough to get a double saddlebag toupe, Dyson is on his most wanted list!

WOW!!

So it's not just Zoey.. I have a yellow Dyson with teeth marks all over it... We were out on a walk and a bright yellow VW Bug drove by and she barked and tryed running like it was a HUGE Dyson coming to get her. I'm not sure if it's a yellow thing.. I always thought dogs were colored blind..
I have been looking for a reason to go buy the PURPLE pet Dyson, I think I just found a reason happy.gif

Sophia could care less....but my Dobie girl Kora thinks it is tr

So she runs into whatever room the vacuum isn't in:-) She HATES that thing:-)

Roxy likes to be vacuumed..

Junior runs from the room. Teddy and Bentley won't even move out of the way. Belle used to bark at it, but she's gotten less reactive. She barks if I use the wand thingy.

Max Attacks the Vacuum

Max and our corgi, Sara, attack the vacuum cleaner, making it impossible to use it with them around. The Dyson has chew marks on it and Max clamps down so hard I'm afraid he's going to break something. You can not even get near the vacuum without both dogs going crazy. Sara was doing this for years before Max was born, so I blame her mostly for this.

OMG Audrey KILLS it

she goes BALLISTIC when we turn it on. We even leave it out so she can get used to seeing it, it was next to her food bowl for a long time, but the second it gets turned on, she attacks. Lifts it right off the ground. She aint playin.

Maybull used to be terrified at the Hoover, BUT...

she is only mildly afraid of the Dyson. I think they make completely different sounds.

remi....

LOVES it! he is really relaxed when i vacuum (which i do compulsively) and he'll let me vacuum him, he loves it, its like a nice little massage. i made very sure to condition him to it, i cant STAND when a dog is zooming around barking or just fearful in general (since its not a healthy thing to harbor fear in a dog) i left it out for him to sniff before i turned it on, gave him some treats. Then i'd turn it on in the other room, so he'd get used to the sound. Then when i'd bring it in the room with him (and on) if he got over excited or afraid i'd give him a quick correction (typically verbal or just with my body language) and let him know i didnt agree with that behavior. hes been a peach about the vacuum ever since!

its vacuum

and Stella runs from it like its a 3 headed bully-eating monster!
i accidentally suctioned her one day with the hose and she was so freaked out.

Tiffany and Stella

not mine

Bella tries to eat it. While I am rolling it from the closet to what ever room I need it, she has it in her mouth the entire time. When I plug it in and turn it on, she follows it from room to room. Too funny.
