how do you...

go about changing the dog food. Do you do half and half and if so for how long? thanks

Mixing foods...

I wait until I'm about 2/3 done with the bullie's 20 lb. bag, then add the new food (which would make a mixture a little over 50 percent for the new food), then when that was about 1/2 done, add another new bag of the new food. If you keep doing this, pretty soon, you'll have all new food, you won't have to futz with the mixture every time you feed your bullie, and the dog won't even notice.

I take at least 7-10 days....

very gradually ....I start with about 3/4 old food..1/4 new...for a few days...then up it to half and half...then a bit more..every couple of days ..till it's completely switched over...just do it slow...good luck...ce

So how long

until he gets the new food all on its own?

Do it very gradually...

for the 1st week, 1/3 new food
for the 2nd week, 1/2 new food
for the 3rd week, 2/3 new food... and so on

or even smaller amounts if you think your bullie might need it.

Hope this helps.
