Hooch is all done, did fine...but he has "severe hip dysplasia"
Submitted by luvwinnie on April 21, 2010 - 12:36amand really bad arthritis in knees too. Starting adequan for long term and deramaxx just to make him comfortable for now.

hip dyslasia....we do the acupuncture for sugar and it helps with her arthritis alot better than the adequan

what does the ester C do exactly?? heard of it but not sure what
I have heard of Ester C.

and the vet approved of it too. She likes the fact that I am trying to keep him off of Deramaxx.

Oh, vet mentioned he was trying to maul techs...guess he
isn't too happy there. Poor baby. He gets so stressed.

and sorry about the knees/hips. Mine has arthritis in knee from torn CCL. It sucks. =(

Great news about the surgery!
Not so much for the hips but, I believe, a lot of bullies live full lives with this condition. Give him a smooch for me when you pick him up tonight!
I use Adequan for Bella also, that and cosequin and she is doing
it works for hoochie boy..

I hope the Adequan will help. Morgan been on it for 3 years now for her HD.

well on Adequan too but started it at age one.
Cain is the same way....
severe knees and hips. He does really well with Adequan, phenocain (pain management). I don't give the Deramaxx as long as the phenocain works.
