hmm. gross runny poop

okay i dont want to be gross, but as of yesterday remis poop has been REALLY runny, and occasionally he'll have a few softer poops, but nothing major, so i didnt think too much of it. But it was runny ALL day, and, all last night he's been whining to get out of his crate like every hour or two, and he NEVER whines, so i figured he had to go to the bathroom. I've brought him out, and every time he explodes, and mostly nothing comes out, aside from a LOT of disgusting sounds, but what does come out is pure liquid, and he seems to be trying to go for a longer period of time and nothings coming out.

any idea what i can do?? or whats wrong/what could have caused this?

poor guy!

Audrey feels the same way about poo in the house, she gets very upset by it. I hope his tummy feels better!

Yup, sounds like a bug

There's a lot of that going around right now, at least in our neighbourhood. Boiled chicken and rice, and keep him hydrated. Stella likes to suck on ice cubes, so I give her those when she's not thirsty.

Sounds like

He may have picked up a bug. You may need to get him started on Flagyl and/or entero for the diarrhea.
I would make sure he stays hydrated (I like pedialyte if he's losing a lot of fluid) and feed the chicken/rice combo. You can also give some pepto, but if things are staying as they are, I would contact your vet.

no switch

i already sent the mister out for some canned pumpkin. He hasnt gotten into anything aside from a nibble of cat food here n there, which is often does anyway. sad.gif

poor feel hes VERY anti poo in his crate/the house, so he whiiiined and whined every hour to get me to bring him out, and he shockingly only had one VERY minor accident in the house. such a good boy.

poor guy

you can give him canned pumpkin, it will firm him up, could be something he ate, Did you switch his food?

how old is he?

you need to be careful of dehydration if there is alot of liquid. It could be something you need to have a vet check out. did you switch food and is he up to date on his shots?
