Hi guys, Ok , I have made a decision, I am going to purchase a new crate, I was goin to buy a divider panel , but it will cost me 20$ and I can get a new crate for $40 that includes a divider panel, so I figured what the hey... anyway, the one I am thinking about are these sizes:
Model 1630 - 30 x 21 x 24 high, 21 lbs.
Model 1636 - 36 x 24 x 27 high, 30 lbs
When I'm lookin at these sizes, does the # 30 and 36 measure the size of the crate from front to back? err Anyway, I want the 30" one if its from front to back, but want to make sure its going to be good for when Molly grows fully into it, could anyone who has a fully grown bully, and crates them, please measure their crate for me, Im in dire need of a new cage for Mol shes gettin to big
Here's a PIC of what I was talking about! =)
This site actually DOES call them Zip Ties.
Julia
24X36 is what Winston has
nm
they are called tie wraps:) n/m
.
we have 36"
it's a perfect size for Spike
He loves it. I think my Grey has the 48, Spike goes in it once in a while, but it's REALLY big for him, if you don't need a crate that huge in your house, I'd go with the smaller one.
Zip ties! TIES! Not locks. =) That's funny though...
Zip ties are those plastic things that... ratchet? closed and don't release. Shoot I can't explain then. They're called something else... I can't think what though. It'll come to me.
But we used zip ties.
Well, anyway... you could secure it with ROPE.
Worth a thought!

Re: zip locks??
That sounds like a good idea. Can you put her crate in another room? Is it just that it takes up too much room or that you don't like how it looks? There are some really nice crate sets that can really dress it up, if that's the case.

zip locks??
thats a good idea, I never even thought of that .... the crate is huge, and I hate having it in the kitchen, but thats the best place for her because its linolum floor
Frannie - Just MAKE one! =)
Our was cardboard, attached with zip ties.

The one we made for my parents' was just made out of plywood, jammed in.
Both worked GREAT! And you can cut them to the exact size of your crate!

I feel silly because we already have a 35 inch crate in the base
We had Molly in this when she was a pup, but I'm having the darnest time finding the right sized divider for it, I have no clue what size divider I need
Get the 36"
It is the perfect size for a full grown bully. I believe there was discussison on this issue a while back. Most people recommended 36" or 48". Try doing a search.

Hi Frannie!
We have the 24x36 one and it's perfect.
But since Molly's a girl, maybe she'll end up being a little smaller than Grover? Grover's not terribly big though. Hmmm... if you want the 30" one, I'm sure that would be fine.

The 36" (or 30" in your case) is the front to back measurement.
Good luck!
