Hi everyone

Hope everyone had a wonderful holiday. As some of you know, I had lost my Dottie back in Oct. from IMHA. My heart still hurts from the loss. I want to thank you all for your support, but mostly for all the devoted time in educating us in the breed. Sharing pictures and giving so much of yourselves. I know I've learned so much from all of you, thank you!

I'm debating on getting another pup or just rescue one. I miss this breed so much and really need another bully friend to love and spoil. They bring us such joy and are so silly. I'll never be without one in my life.

I'm finally back looking at all your wonderful bullies, smiling away and enjoying each of them. I enjoy reading up on all of them as much as seeing their pics. I won't ramble on anymore, but want to really thank you all for such a wonderful site that I enjoy very much.

Thank you and I hope to be more often now,
Maria

Best of luck in your search

I'm glad your heart has healed enough to consider getting another bully. Puppy or rescue, I'm sure you will reap all the rewards of having this wonderful breed!

As someone who rescued after losing a beloved bully,

I can tell you it's a wonderful experience. My husband wanted a puppy at first, but in my heart I knew I needed to adopt a rescue to help my heart heal after losing our Winnie.

Hi

Awe, I've filled out the adoption application forms for a rescue. My understanding is it could take years to get one since there are many on the list. I live in Michigan and most rescue places won't place them outside of the states. My heart tells me to give a rescue a home and tons of love.

Time for bed...have a great day,
Maria

Hi

It's so hard to lose a bulldog. I still think of my Chief all the time and he's been gone nearly 2 years. If you are serious about a rescue you can find some up for adoption on the BCARN site. I also have a senior foster girl who is looking for a forever home.

It's nice to meet you and your beautiful girl

Thank you! I can't wait to have another one, but needed to take sometime after my loss. Now my heart is aching and missing that personality of a bulldog in my home. Not that another one will ever replace Dottie, but they are such wonderful dogs as you know.

Your Audrey is so beautiful. I'm sure you are enjoying her and this site. I'm glad to meet you and hope to get to know you better.

Have a great evening and week,
Maria

Thanks...feels good to be back here.

Oh gosh, I'd love to have a housefull of them seriously. I can imagine the fun watching two pups growing up together. Your bullies are so cute.

Good to see you posting again

I hope you find the perfect bulldog or two very soon. After my first bulldog very unexpectedly crossed over, I got two bulldog puppies. Watching them grow up together as puppies was one of the most fun and rewarding experiences of my life. So think about two!

Welcome back

Nice to see you posting again. IMHA is so difficult--Spotty made it past his initial crisis, then we battled it for the last 20 months of his life.

I'm glad you are thinking about adding to your family. Dottie will always be in your heart, but hearts are made to expand and make room when the time is right.
