Hi everybuddy, we've been missing you all... (a few pics)
Submitted by DavRox on April 21, 2010 - 12:35amIt's been so busy around here. Our local curling bonspiel took place last weekend, which brought a lot of people into town. I tried to both curl in it and work (our Bar & Grill was a zoo!). Our rink ended up winning the "B" event, so we were happy. Then there was a 30th birthday party in our restaurant on Saturday, live band, and about 100 poeple. Up til 4AM working that night, and curled the next morning at 8AM...ugh!
Anyways, been so busy it seems like forever since I've even been able to lurk. Hope everyone is doing well, and our prayers and warmest wishes to those that are experiencing hard times.

...Cathy, lol, that is a chunk of ice in her mouth. She loves to play fetch with frozen snowballs. Gets quite kooky about it. I'll have to get some video of that. We operate a tourist resort on a lake that includes cabins, boats a licensed public restaurant, and we sell gas.

Being busy is good...
we dont' like to hear about absents due to illness or similar. Never watched a curling match but sounds rather interesting. Hugs to your little sweetie.

Glad business is booming even in the winter. Thank goodness for curling, right?
My dad is a career curler but decided to quit this year (he's 75) because there was too much travel under bad road conditions. He's now only taking part in occasional bonspeils. Sweeeeeeeeeeeeep!
