Hi all! Ass't. Pics of Arthur, hope you like.... :)

One of these days I'll be able to caption each one.
(LOL)

I love them dropped....

gives him quite the air of a king indeed!smile...ce

Sue-Bear's picture

Arthur

What a handsome fella he is. Such a sweet face.

I love the king Arthur..and his name...and to your question

your half correct...all the females in my family for many generations have Elizabeth as a second name followed by Renee'...it was my grandmums first name....my first name is Christine.
your wife has a beautiful name!blessings..and smiles...ce

What a sweetheart!

Arthur looks like a real sweetie, Greg! I love the 1st pic. I can't tell whether he's just telling you how much he loves you, or whether he's checking to see if there might be another treat in your pocket. LOL

Barbara

Me too!! Boo's ears are dropped

I know it's not the preferred look, but I think they are cuter when buttoned vs. rose.

P. S. to Gregg: great pics. I especially like the one with the cat.

Arthur and agility

Gregg,

I assist in a beginners agility class. There are some dogs that just flat out refuse to work some equipment. I have been working for months to get my JRT on the ramp. The tunnel is a natural for a terrier, so no problems there. However, he nearly fainted on the see-saw when it moved. Oh well. We will get there someday.

Tracking is a great sport. Great exercise for both the handler and dog. Have fun, Arthur will enjoy the one on one time with you.

Good luck

Lynn K

Same 2nd name passed down in wife's maternal side in same manner

.

Big thanks for all responses, great to find exceptional people a

Took some pics of Arthur playing with daughter and friends in the yard with Crazy Daisy, will post when downloaded.

Bullie snuffles and best wishes to all!!!

.

I really like that first portrait!!

Very nice!

I'll bet he's a real love.

Hahah, Murphy will never look dignified!

Those are cute pics!

I don't know much about OEB's since they're not in the AKC, but can you tell me what their standard calls for as far as there ears go. I noticed that his are buttoned and was wondering if the standard is set that way or if it preferred to be rosed, like the bulldog is with the AKC.

Emily

Sorry Im kinda new, but is he an Olde Bulldogge????? its just he

Arthur

Gregg,

I love the last one so sweet

Great pics

hahaha Theo would never lay down with a cat.

Thanks Emily, Murph looks quite dignified.....

The standard for the OEB states the ears can either be drop (button) or rose.
Arthur's ears are usually drop, but he can rose them at will, and especially when prancing (trotting).

Take care,
gregg

Yes, King Arthur is an Olde English Bulldogge....

He's 18 months old. 23 1/2" tall, and 97 lbs.
His dad is only 18" tall, 80 lbs, his mom just under 20", and 70 lbs. (???)
We knew he was the pick of the litter, but had no idea he would be this size. We think he is just
gorgeous. (of course).

Take care,
gregg

On the matter of agility.... :(

Yes, he's in great shape

Arthur was started in puppy obed, and graduated with flying colors. He went on to graduate 3 more advanced levels. In each he was given more than the opportunity to experience agility.
Arthur has, does, and will absolutely refuse to go through a tunnel, up a ramp, and walk on a board.
Believe me. We can't go there. At all.
He will do confirmation, CD and basic obedience until
he has to do jumps or dumbell work. I'm thinking about starting him in tracking this fall. He's got a great nose. We'll see.

Take care,
gregg

Thanks, he is a big lug who loves EVERYBODY.... :)

By the way, from an earlier post, I believe you explained ce are initials from two of your five names?
If this is correct, would you allow me to guess ce
is for Catherine Elizabeth? If not, had to try, my
wife's name is same initials for same two names.

Take care
gregg

Thank you snuffles to you and your bullies.. :)

.

Very nice comment, Lucky is his buddy, they nap together.

.
