While I haven't been around here as long as you, I've seen some change (and high drama) played out, too. Bottom line - this board has a lot of wonderful caring people who share the passion of bulldogs. Thank goodness for that! AND PICTURES!!!

Gretl is such a crack up... I'm glad you're getting experience puppyhood full force. Sanford was a TERROR and I really many days didn't know what I was going to do with him, but looking back now I realize how much I miss his antics. He's pretty mellow now but still has his occasional "zoomie" episodes and crazed actions I just wish there were more of them.

Old WWB posters will/should all remember Ingrid. This goes way back to around 1997. She was on some kind of medication, don't remember what, and sometimes when she would type, her fingers were not in the right spot and she would type paragraphs of nothing but gibberish and not even realize she was doing it. It was hysterical - we all got a laugh when that happened and tried to figure out what she was saying. 1/2 the time she didn't even remember. Helen, Ela1ne, Vicky, Gail, Stephanie, Sue B and others should all remember her.

he wasn't around for long, but y'all would have loved reading his posts. He popped up out of nowhere one day and swore that someone had bred a cat and an English Bulldog, which set off a lot of humorous posts about what such offspring should be called. I'm starting to forget some of his other entertaining posts, tho I do remember that he once posted he went for a walk in the snow by strapping tennis rackets to the bottom of his shoes.

And then he was gone. No one ever heard from him again, or found out who he was (of, if they did, they haven't said so). We sure enjoyed his time him, tho.

That's where I first met Sue N, Helen D, and a few others...and gosh that does go back several years! That site owner/moderator just closed shop one day with no real explanation, no offer to someone else to purchase the site/group, or anything. I, for one, was rather lost without my daily fix of bulldog chat.

Does anyone remember the AOL group that this board spun off of??

and me, Helen, Ela1ne and many other really long timers. I remember for the life of me I couldn't figure out the picture thing - Liz walked me through it at least a dozen times in chats until I got it. And because of that new feature, Dave started pulling random pix to put on the home page every so often or with the change of seasons. So of course, more and more pix started to get posted and some people got more pissed over time.

Yes, the "must say . . pics" unwritten rule.
