HELP! Milo has a BIG bump on his head!

But it's not the same. First off Milo hasn't had any shots and this bump is on the very top of his head right where that center dot is on him.
It's rock hard like it's in his skull - you cant notice it by sight but when you feel it it's pretty big, It's like a bone spur glen things - Glen said he's noticed it awhile before but now it's getting bigger - strange because I've never noticed it - WHAT COULD IT BE!!!!!!!

I think it should be looked at especially if it is getting larger and if it is sensitive to the touch. The earlier something nasty gets diagnosed the better if treatment is necessary. Odds are he just pulled a typical bulldog move and plowed through something with his head.LOL
Does it hurt him when you press or squeeze it?
Let's hope he just bumped his head, but you should definitely call the vet.

Thanks all - I will take him to the vet to get it checked out - it just doesn't seem like a bump he would get from bumping into something - it doesn't seem sore at all - it feels like it's a part of his skull, and it runs half way down his skull - I'll keep you posted on what it is.

Well, you don't usually find bone spurs in the cranium (skull) except for the occasional one at the base, not saying it cant happen, it does once in a while, but vary rare. If he has ever had a fracture or defect in the head anyway, concusion, etc or a defective cranial suture line then it would be more possible. Baring any past injuries It may be a tissue injury, old one, even the thin skin over the head if it gets irrated some way, somehow it can create an adhesion or even a encapsulated cyst will create that. Most likely is the case and if it is not big, open, or causing any problem there is not a lot to do about it. In time it may go down or away, and you can always have your vet look at it or remove it if its a problem. But nothing urgent!
