I have put fresh cold water in her pool,. She ate ice cubes I poured lemon juice in her mouth. It was very hot here today. She doesn't want to stay in the house. What else can I do.

house I had a rescue one time that was terrified of the house...so we would make a treat trail tiny little bits of cheese or small training liver treats...and lead them to a soft doggie cushion in the house...where a jumbo bone or what ever she loved was waiting..at first she would grab the bone and book back outside...so we would praised her while she was in..not much praise outside...and do it over and over...and she could only have the coveted jumbo bone inside...after about two months of daily trails..she started to chew the bone inside..first by the door..then fianlly on her soft bed..it gots so after the first year ..when it was time to go out..I thought I'd have to reverse my trail..she just wasn't interested in the back yard as much ...as all the fun stuff she had inside...with hot waether ..it might be worth a try..and stop laughing desperate times call for desperate measures...chuckle...ce
as the weather gets hotter, and go into the house. Or you could build an airconditioned dog house. LOL! Gosh, wonder why she doesn't like the house? Maybe she's claustrophobic? Glad you were home. Glad she is better.

She seems to have calmned down. She is outside laying on a wet cold towel. She really doesn't like to be int he house. I think she must be nervous. WEll thanks to everyone.

She doesn't like to stay in the house too long. She is always outside and loves it. I think she is throwing up now because she has grass stuck in her throut. When she does throw up it is grass and white phlem. Her body is actually pretty cool. Thanks for the help
Are you serious? Is she very hot? If so, put her in the tub or pool in cool water and make her stand there until her body cools down. You could put a fan with blowing air on her. If she is getting very bad, take her to the vet. Good luck! Does she not like it in the house?
If it happens again make sure to take her temperature! (not too
accurate way to make sure she's not overheating!)

I don't think her previous owner let her in.
She alway has to be persuaded then she is in for awhile and then sits by the door and want out.
You are only an hour away from us!!!
Hey Stephanie. I can't believe you are so close. I have been looking for someone who lives closer than a three hour drive away!!
Minneapolis solution
You could come here. We had frost warnings last nite.
She may have to change her tune
