I really like that sure fit harness!

It looks like it would be good for riding in the car too. We have a car harness for Audrey but she HATES it so we always have to change her harness when we get to wherever we are going. I don't think the step-ins have enough to them to be really safe buckled into the seat belt.

always when they come back in....I only use it outside...

sounds like it just to loose
I have used them for years and years..and years..lol
never had an issue
I only use them outside to walk ..or in the car..if we are going somewhere..
I bet the harness is just not tight enough..

YOU could take him in and have the store..check it out and see..but my guess is that it is too loose.. why not just try to tighten it some and see

take off the harness inside the house too
that might help with walking as well outside
my bullies know the harness if for walking and then they do not balk outside at all with it on.
I have no problem getting the bullies to put on the harness. I also show them the leash at the same time..and off we go..

curious ..do all 4 paws fit into that one then??

trying to understand how the harness goes on..
looks like all 4 paws fit into it

I use a step in for Audrey

and she wears hers all day now because she has been fighting and I need something to grab besides her wrinkles. I keep it very loose, and she can not get out of it. I have had to grab it and haul her fast out of a situation twice now, and even with it being very loose it didn't budge off of her.

It might not have been tight enough. I've been using step-ins

for Bubba's entire life but he slips out of them every other month or so. It probably is not tight enough but I leave it on him during the day usually so I don't like it to be too tight. Do you take the harness off as soon as your bully comes back inside?

Here is a harness like I use...no stress on the neck

hmmm even if the step in is tighter..???

I have not had a dog slip one yet..been years and years.
I had a pug slip the lead at the vets..I only use step ins now and have not had an issue.
wander how the bully gets out of the step in..??
I am wandering if the step in is tight enough..
could see it if the clip on top came loose..

I am not doubting you....but just never heard of it with a step in..

YOU put the step in on the ground..the bully puts the front paws

in the 2 holes and then it just straps on top of the bully.
they are great.
I swear by them..
I use them all the time like I said

I had a pug slip a lead at the vets..they used a show lead on him in the am. before he was neutered and he slipped the lead. he was gone for over 24 hours and blind..
SO I take no chances..
I use the step ins..you can really adjust them well too

they also have step ins that are out that are designed to shine in the dark and they do that good as well. that way if you have them out or walking them at night..they reflect. it is the same material that the firemen use in their coats..
it is awesome..
the harness costs a bit more.but well worth it for me. I like to walk Bella at night some times..so it was great for me.

take the bully in when you size them up..if you can. I do that all the time too..or take along your other harness and that would help too..

I asked about harnesses a few weeks ago...

I use a step-in too but Bubba stills get out of it sometimes. Elaine suggested a 'sure-fit' harness fromhttp://www.sitstay.com/. Good luck. I have a hard time w/ Bubba w/ harnesses b/c he comes out of everything when he plants his feet and doesn't want to move.

Re: what kind of harness do you have now?? I use step ins for bo

I have Lupine and a car harness that I cant remember the brand off the top of my head. I will look into what you use, thanks for the help,my guy is very stubborn when on walks, when he doesnt want to go home yet and he wants to keep walking he will back up and twist and wriggle and I dont think I cant tighten any more.thanks
