Had to take Stella to the vet's last night

She still couldn't keep any food down. So, $350 later, we had a tummy x-ray and blood work done to rule out an obstruction or anything too bad like pancreitis. Everything looked good. She did have quite a bit of gas in her tummy and a small part of her colon was enflamed. So, she got a shot to help with the nausea and some pills for the next couple of days to help with the inflamation.

So much for starting out 2010 on a positive note. Poor thing!

On a positive note, she kept her TINY breakfast down this morning (for 2 hours at least before I had to leave).

Glad she's a little better this morning

Seems like they often improve by the time we take them to the vet and spend some money. Good thing right?
