Had to take Stella to the vet's last night

She still couldn't keep any food down. So, $350 later, we had a tummy x-ray and blood work done to rule out an obstruction or anything too bad like pancreitis. Everything looked good. She did have quite a bit of gas in her tummy and a small part of her colon was enflamed. So, she got a shot to help with the nausea and some pills for the next couple of days to help with the inflamation.

So much for starting out 2010 on a positive note. Poor thing! sad.gif

On a positive note, she kept her TINY breakfast down this morning (for 2 hours at least before I had to leave).

Glad she's a little better this morning

Seems like they often improve by the time we take them to the vet and spend some money. Good thing right? happy.gif

Good news!

I hope that little punkin continues to improve and keep her meals down.

lets hope she starts to improve some there...

good thing you got into the vet
she will likely start to eat once her tummy is more settled..
poor baby
will keep her in my thoughts

Stella's sick?

Oh geez. I just came on I hope she's ok. I'm glad she doesn't have pancreatitis, give her a gentle smooch from us.

A New Year's resolution is something that goes in one Year and out the other.
