Growing pains?

Occasionally in the past three days I catch him with a small limp. Monty has sprouted up like a weed. Can they get growing pains like kids do? Also do they tend to get a lazy stage during this? I wonder also if his leg would be sore from the IV due to his nueturing on Thursday? What's your thoughts?

I just started switching

Slick over to adult Wellness fish & sweet potato. He seems to be doing fine on it. He is just a little over 5 months. The vet recommend I switch him at this time. She actaully said with bullies they can be switched even earlier.

Sue

Mojo is a butterball waiting to happen ..I was

going to switch him at 6 months..but now it will be when this bag is half down and we can start mixing in the adult food...he is 5 months plus a bit...ce

Leg looks & feels fine...

Didn't know if it would get sore how ours can, like bruising after giving blood. He is 17weeks. How do you know when he should be off the puppy food? My breeder said she takes them off at around 10-11 months, but I read the other day someone said 6 months. For the growing pains just let him rest?

yep they get growing pains

how old is your boy? I would check his IV spot on his leg for any swelling, lump or heat if you have any of the 3 call your vet.

If he is still on puppy food you might want to change him to adult food, puppy food is for growth. Most bulldogs do not need the puppy food for to long, some bulldoggers who breed and show are taking the puppies off puppy food at about 4 months.

Good luck
