Grover wants to tell you about his weekend... (pics)
Submitted by admin on April 20, 2010 - 5:26pmHerro eberyone! It's me, your old pal Grover. Thot I wood share sum picktures of my weekend with you. It rained a LOT, so Mommy and I thot you might like to see the DRY ones. 
Mommy and Daddy took the new dinghy Daddy made out for a test run and I got to go! But the only pics I have are when they were done and we played with Gramma and Grandpa. And my Uncle Brian!
Here I am, raring to go in my RuffWear lifejacket! Don't I look funny in this forced perspective!?
After much wiggling for all the folks at the yacht club, I got to just hang out in Grandpa's cockpit and watch people go by.
My Uncle Brian was busy helping, so I tried to nose my way in so he'd pay more attention to me.
Hello!!! I'm more fun that that gel-coat!!
FINE. I'll just hang out by myself.
What if I get REALLY close!!!!!!! THEN will you pay attention to me?? (Like my nose-job? What about my TOOF?)
This Beagle attacking me is my... "aunt" I guess... Holly. She's Gramma and Grandpa's new puppy. I tink I've told you about her...
Was I REALLY this obnoxious?! Seriously? Mommy and Daddy laugh and say that I pestered every dog JUST like this... 
I find that hard to believe. Hmpf.
Oomf! Right in the face!
Cute?! I think not. (Mom says she's amazed that she was even able to snap this pic - Little Miss Holly does NOT stop moving! She's exceptionally hyper!)
Can we PLEASE go now? She's about to pounce on me again in the bottom left corner.
Bye bye! 
Finally we got to go home... but first I had to wait for Mommy and Daddy to wrestle the dinghy back onto the roof! 
Not the most exciting weekend, but fun for me!

Norberts life jacket is very similar to Grover's. It is yellow and blue with flouresent strips, a full belly band, lead hook and fits very well. We got ours at West Marine in Seattle. Much better then his first one that we got at PetsMart.
Grover you are a great story teller and sent great pics!
By the way, I'm sure you were not as annoying as little miss Holly (although she is cute).

My in-laws' beagle is the smaller variety, I think so that's why she's little. I'm not familiar with beagles, but I have seen the two sizes in dog shows. Apparently, she's the smaller of the two. That, and she's around 8 months old! She's fiesty as all get out, but Grover can sit on her if he needs to.

My lifejacket is a medium and the company said that floats up to 70 pounds. I'm lucky 'cause I'm 60 pounds!!!
And it's got good strong battens (Mom's helping me with the spelling in this post and she's not even sure if that's spelled right) that make it rigid on the back. And a good belly support. Or rather, chest support. Just under-tummy area is well padded, instead of most lifejackets that just have straps. 
It really truly fits like it was MADE fer me.
Let my mom know if you have anymore questions. She LOVES to talk about my lifejacket and Dremel tools.

She gots it two years ago and while rekomending it here left and right (she wants to be compensated by the company!), she noticed it's a slightly diff'rent style now. But it's a REALLY good bully coat. It's called a "Float Coat."
