Is Agnus your first dog? I have had german shephards before but Spencer is my first Bullie. I know what you mean about spoiling your pet. We all do it out of love. It is what makes us human. I dressed Spencer up for Easter as the Easter Bunny and did an egg hunt with him. I hid milk bones in plastic eggs around the house and watched him find them. It was fun but my mom thinks I am nuts too. He wears a Harley jeans jacket and hat when it is cold outside. We have some many toys for him it is unbelievable. Spencer has several different outfits and shoes I understand what it is like to spoil your dog. But he is more like your child than a dog with there loving personality and I think that it is great that you consider Agnus part of your family like I do. So I say, go ahead and spoil them! You are a great loving mom.

Ha I Used to be a paranoid mama like you, and still am but Milo knows his boundries, he is a little bugger, he would swallow a greenie whole if he could...
ya he ate half the thing at a time, never chewed it and swallowed it, he was fine, the only thing to watch out for his if he chews on it and it gets sticky and slimy it can get caught in his throat...
After I found that out, no more greenies for Milo, he can play with his fake nylabone with no taste that he hates lol!

Hey mike they sell them in god stores here in CA. They are a chew that is for bad breath and dogs go nutty for them. What the heck was I thinking!!! My lil one has great babies breath!!! Im not giving it back to him. I was scared out of my mind!!

I was just worried since I have read post about Bullies pooping out baby socks and such. So I thought it was possible for them to swallow things 1/2 whole. Just worried. I do know about row hides and such not being good for them. I only give him chew stuff (any chew toy) while I am home watching him. I got it away from him and I dont think I am giving it back. I really do think he would have swallowed the half. I know my lil guy he will eat anything. We give him carrots sometimes and I see in his poops large chunks that are kinda schoking to see. I would tink it would break down. He is not a big eater but will gobble fast. Thats what worries me. IM A FREAK!

I heard the greenies aren't the best thing, but I just found that out a couple days ago, I've been giving greenies to Milo for the past two weeks and he horks them down and eats half at a time and he's been fine...

farcus loved them. he ate them in like five minutes. but they got so sticky he would start choking on them. we don't give them to him anymore. plus it gave him runny do do.

Dogs like humans like to chew there food before they eat it. I have never seen a dog pick-up something and without trying to bite it first swallow it whole. They are dogs not ducks. They like to chew. They only swallow things whole after they realize that they can't break it by chewing and they enjoy the smell. Go ahead for yourself and taste the greenie. I know that you might think I'm a nut. But is green and minty like gum. It won't kill you. It is made of oils and fibers for easy digestion. The chamoise oils are what keeps there breath fresh and starts at the digestion of the stomach. When they chew on it, it breaks the plaque down on there teeth. You do know not to give them rawhide right? Nylabone only for chewing bones-tough chews.

ok i was just feeling bad that i didnt look into them more befor I just gave it to him. I am super freak about things like that, and this time I took the store owners word for it. Since she is a great person, My fav doggie boutique. They come in diff sizes and I got him the correct one for his weight. I just didnt want him swallowing 1 whole half!! Whew. SO IF HE DID SWALLOW IT WOULD BE OK?? 1/2??

The greenie are an edible bone and they are meant to broken up and eaten. It they swallow a chunk like mine usually does it is ok. He probably demolished it in 5 minutes anyhow. They oils that are in greenies are what naturalizes there breath in there stomachs. They are suppose to be eaten and digested. You'll be alright.

He didnt swallow it and now he is pissed at me for tricking him with a treat!!! Whew I was freaked out!!!
I thought they were ok toeat but not a whole 1/2. Wonder what will happen. Has anyone had this problem??

I would take the rest a way from him untill you find out if it is ok for him to eat it.

They girl who sold it to me said they were the greatest thing!!! I hate them!!! help!! Anyone there??
