I know dogs have done this through the ages but I never understood why. My bulldog Gunner ate grass twice this week and then vomited just once. Should I be concerned? Thanks for your help.

Sunflower is my grass eater. But she only does it when her tummy is upset. She will go eat some grass and stay outside until she vomits. Then she comes in and in true Bulldog style, takes a long nap. When she wakes up from her nap she is all better and ready to play.
that its because they are missing something from their diet, not serious its perfectly normal. I can't remember or not but I believe its like msm or something like that.

all eat grass. Grass poop, grass vommit, grass slobber...uggh. It gets everywhere. I am considering spraying the grass all over the neighborhood with bitter apple!

Eating grass....YUM
Hi,
Some dogs like to "graze". Higgins used to LOVE the leaves from one of the bushes I had in my yard.
I would discourage it if it makes him vomit.
