Got a question about Porky.

His one eye has been really watering and has a semi thick discharge. It is only the one eye. It does look as if his fur in the corner of his eyelid may be curling in on it a bit? Might be irritating it. Anyone have any experience with this?

for a minute there, Amy, I thought you were talking about me hah

that's how Ozzy's eyes have been with the left being much worse then
the right.
We took him to the vet and luckily there was no ulcer present
like there have been so many times in the past
BUT his eyes were extremely dry.
He gave us eyedrops, Tacrolimus, and that seems to have helped
Ozzy a lot!

Good luck with PC! happy.gif
and give Jazzy and PC a hug from me!

eyes are tough....

i would make an appt with the vet....becasue their just to many things that can happen fast with eye problems....
if you cant get in for a day or two...i would put warm compresses on it at least three times a day...dont put any home products in it till you know the problem.....

Thanks!

I am going to try to get him in asap!

A few weeks

ago when Stan had a URI he got conjuctivitis with it in one eye and it somewhat cause he eyelids to swell and it seemed like they turned in a little. After a few days of antibiotic ointment he was fine. I would have the vet look at it but in the meantime keep it lubricated with drops like refresh.
