Buddy didn't have to have surgery this morning. Vet said he has Trichiasis rather than Distichiasis. Boy am I getting educated !!! The eyelashes were in the correct place, they had just grown too long and had curled into his eye. He just plucked them out. He said they would grow back but they may not curl when they do. As long as they grow back right he won't need surgery. He also has mild Entropion but not bad enough to do surgery on. He said down the road if he has to do the Trichiasis surgery he will do both at one time. So for now the news is good. Just have to let the ulcer get well. Go back in two weeks for a checkup.
