Georgia - prayers needed, turn for the worst.

No sooner did I post that I got word that Georgia has taken a turn for the worse. I can't believe it. She had a bad episode this morning while coughing and fell over...she was loosing oxygen and they had to get her out and clear her throat, etc.. THANK GOD it happenned before she came home.

This is unreal. They are doing another trach wash this morning but they think that she just keeps aspirating fluids over and over again. So, the bacteria in the lungs keeps changing before it can get any better. She is going back on an appropriate antibiotic by IV.

I am so exasperated with this. It is so frustrating. We are going back and forth between crying in desperating and anger.

Here is a good example of the frustration of rescue. This little pup deserves a chance at life - even with all the odds stacked against her - it breaks my heart. We have given her all the treatment that money can buy, and it still might not be enough.
