sick. What were her symptoms? I know any drug can cause reactions...Rimadyl made Winnie sick, but she was fine on Deramaxx. Our holistic vet suggested Deramaxx over Rimadyl.

it was pretty horrid wretching sound, not like normal vomiting. It surprised me becuz Boo normally has an iron stomach. She has even eaten my wall without throwing it up.
But so far she has never had a problem with Rimadyl, which she has been on now for going on two years.
Good luck in finding the right meds for Hooch.

He was just going with the adequan but our holistic vet (go figure) when she saw him really felt he should have something else in the meantime since Adequan takes about 4 weeks.
Just a funny aside... but tramadol makes ME violently ill. =)

Michele, our vet gives us Tramadol for pain...
it seems to work well and no side effects here.
