Breathing still isn't back to normal, but seems to get better each day. She ate very well last night (I'm mashing her food to make it easier for her) and the Bully wiggle has returned to her greetings. My worry is for what might have been aspirated (water? food particles?) and how it might manifest itself a little later.
It's grand to be awakened by smooshey face nuzzles!
(Noah is still contained in the paneled enclosure, trimmed with hot-wire. The fence guy hasn't been back yet. We moved our quarter horse gelding to a friend's house yesterday to munch down grass in his field before it has a chance to dry out and become a fire hazard later in the season. Since our mare is a big porkchop and doesn't need that kind of smorgasbord, and we know what kind of trouble Noah can get into .. those two stayed home.)
Gail I am glad to hear the wiggles are back
That is good sign. Poor Pride. I hope that she gets over this with no problems later.
Pride is doing fine ....
