Gail -- an Ebay question r.e. photo paper

I just haven't found any photo paper that comes even close to the Canon Photo Paper Pro, and I've tried them all: Epson, HP, Kodak, IBM, etc.

However, it is a bit expensive. The only place around me that sells it is Best Buy, and they charge $13.99 for a 15 page package of 8x10s.

Have you bot it on Ebay?? I found a seller named "megapixland" who sells 4 pkgs. for $48, which saves about $15 over Best Buy's price, tho the shipping will probably cut into that a bit. Have you found a better price?? Thanx.

Yes ... good transaction with Megapixland

Stay away from Hoodsurfer

Have you heard of the seller I mentioned, "megapixland"?

Hope that isn't who ripped you off? They seem to have good customer ratings.

Photo paper ....

sorry I'm late ... don't really get a chance to post too much when I'm home at noon.

I've gotten some Canon Paper Pro over e-Bay. Got screwed on one deal (it was actually a lesser quality Canon product .. haven't used it yet) .. and got a nice package deal on 4 x 6 AND 8 x 10 Paper Pro.

I've also bought quite a bit of the HP Premium Glossy 4 x 6. I bought some of that at Target while I was waiting for the Canon paper to arrive, and I actually DO like the HP Premium Glossy (not Premium Glossy Plus).

It's kind of hit-and-miss on e-Bay .. but I've got lots of photo paper (various types of Canon and HP) for the time being, and now I find out one of my husband's fishing buddies is a HP salesman. If he can get me a good deal on the 4 x 6 Premium glossy, I'll buy a case of that stuff. It's plenty good for pics I'm sending out to family and friends ... they seem to like them just fine.

Try to Search the Completed Items

Gary, I've never bought photo paper from e-bay, but I often search through the completed items to see what things have gone for in the past. To do that, use the Search feature, click Advanced, and then there's a box to check to search for completed auction items.

Hope this helps.

Barbara
