Right on the top side of our 9 month old's neck, there are 3 bald spots, the size of gumballs. They've been there for a while. I thought it was the result of his shedding. Today my husband was checking for Ticks and felt the bald spots..he felt lumps under each one of them. I felt them and felt the same thing.
What could this be? I'm calling the vet tomorrow but would just like to hear what you all seem to think it could be???
Thanks!
Re: Found 3 lumps... worried..help...
My Sykes had the same thing. We did a skin scrape and it was demodex mange. Whenever you see a bald spot never assume with this breed. I learned the hard way and now I have a battle on my hands. Good luck.
Good luck at the vet tomorrow
I don't know what it is, but I hope it is OK. I had an older bully who accumulated a few lumps along the way as she aged that were all OK when taken off, but don't know about these as she is so young.
I am of no help but
just wanted to let you know we send prayers and good thoughts for a speedy recovery.
3 lumps
I cannot begin to tell you what those lumps might be, but I want to let you know that your baby and you will be in my prayers. Warm glow and positive thoughts are coming your way. Please let us know what you find out.

Don't know what it could be, but just wanted to let you know we will be thinking of you and praying that it is nothing serious.
Hi Megan,
Not sure i can help except we are thinking of your bully and yes it could be mange as they do get a type of lump that is raised i guess. Anyway good luck and let us know how you make out!

Bulldozer had something similiar to this a while back and I brought him to the vet and they did a skin scrape and said it was mange. Not the bad kind. She said that if they are not feeling well or stressed this can happen. Plus he was still considered a pup and a pups immunity system isn't quite what it should be yet so these things can happen. His hair grew back and he is fine. He had 3 spots too. One on his neck one on his chest and the other on his foot. Bring him to the vet to be on the safe side.
