Submitted by admin on April 21, 2010 - 12:33amIs it possible that the food I am feeding Tank, Wellness Chicken, is causing acne on his chin? He has a stainless steel bowl. I have some medicine from the vet to put on the acne, but it keeps coming back. That's why I'm wondering if it's the food. Thanks!

Good old original Listerine Mouthwash does just as well as the m
for normal acne. Just wipe after each feeding with the Listerine (Brown) and then if you like dust lightly with Gold Bond Medicated powder.
do you wipe his face , lips, chin after he eats or drinks?
i have found that when my bully gets acne, its because i am not paying enough attn to cleaning her up after she eats or drinks... i keep a bully face only wash cloth near the sink, i give a couple of quick swipes after every meal to be sure that there isnt a bunch of food or water stuck on her face...
if she gets pimples, i try to just keep it clean and leave it alone, otherwise it would dry up and fall off.
