Fluff post: Grover's strange obsession

OK guys... if I tell you this, you must promise me you won't think any less of Grover.

The posts about scooting and spinning for tail itching has inspired me to admit this secret. I hope Grover will forgive me. But I need help. I don't know what to do.

Grover has an itchy tail, like most bullies. We clean it and powder it often, but not TOO often! Well, for the last year or so, he's begun an obsession of sorts. He SITS on his nylabones. And just rocks. And licks the air. And licks his nose. And looks to be "in heaven."

I love him to bits (of course!), but it's disgusting and embarrassing when done in public (i.e. my in-laws and such). He's got awful allergies. He's just generally itchy. But does he EVER love to itch his tail by just shoving the ends of his chewy bones... ahem... well, you get the jist. He prefers his Galileo and has now adopted the super-tough Turkey Bone we just bought him.

When we catch him doing his naughty behavior, we shout "Grover, get off your bone!" and he immediately takes off.

Help!!!!! I have a perverted doggie!

-Julia (who's KIND of looking for help, but also just looking for a cathartic opportunity... boy does it feel good to finally admit that. Any other bone sitters out there?)

BYE

Cant start enough trouble on the Cody posts so you have to come over here and continue being a jerk. You must have a very lonely life.

That was INCREDIBLY FUNNY!!!

Pride has a fetish too, but I can't quite bring myself to give details yet.

You guys can keep thinking of her as a Cover Girl for awhile ....

I've been around for two years... =) And every post I post is si

No harm done... I just don't usually get singled out. Especially for posting something so fluffy. That happened to be real.

I just think you could easily reconsider some of things you post, before you post them. Think about who's behind them. I'm certainly not the weird "Bubba with no nuts" guy. Or whatever he was. Hee hee. Everyone here knows that.

Have a good night... I'm going to bed with my bone-sitter.

Julia

There was a guy...

...who used to post these long funny syories...that were not real but funny just the same. That is why I ask was it a joke story because who would call a dog actions "naughty behavior" being serious. I never said I didn't like or dislike the story...oh nevermind...it's fruitless.

Oh Tony... I'm the least argumentative or BITING person you'll e

But I must say, I won't miss you if you go. I don't appreciate your snide remarks, quite honestly. But I'm honored you took the time to form an opinion about my little insignificant post!!

Everyone else enjoyed my Grover story... 'tis a shame you couldn't. (Is that biting? I don't know... I'm still learning.)

Julia

so defensive...and biting...

...no one can ever say anything other than the usual 'talk like my dog is talking or write like my dog is reading the post'. It's so uncomfortable here. Believe me, I get private emails with the same observations. I'll not post again...it's not very warm and inviting. Freedom?...yeah, right, as long as you don't say anything.

So glad I could make you guys smile with my goofy Grover story.

(OHMYGOD... he's doing it as I type!!!)

Julia,

Thanks for the chuckle. Don't ya just love it when your dog does something like this in front of company, they give that look. Makes you wonder if they will ever come back to visit. I usually get laughing, there is no way to explain it away.

My Gladys will often throw up a little water after she drinks. Unfortunately, she likes to share the moment. She has distressed a few of our dinner guests. Oh well, that's my girl.

Thanks again

Excuse me? It was not a joke story, but a little bit of levity f

I apologize if it bothered you. Next time, ignore my posts.

Julia

Was this a joke story?

Who said it's "naughty behavior"? It's kinda strange putting "human" labels on a dog. Maybe I missed something.

That was a great story and I needed the laugh.
