WOW, that sounds like a great idea....Thanks.
Really, just to have Fluff being her old self would be great. John is going up to Reno to visit his Mom in two weeks, and usually always takes Fluff for his trips. However, we don't think Fluff will be over all the meds, etc. to be gone for a week, and it would be too much.
John's mom fell in love with Fluff from previous trips. John has already told her that Fluff can't make it, but he plans on taking her daughter, Chancey for the trip. That way he has someone to keep him company, and to visit his mom (she's 82, still lives in the same old house where John grew up..)

I cannot tell you how pleased I am to hear that Fluff is improving!! It is neat that your vet was singing "She's A Survivor" when you left his office. That is a sure sign that he feels that she will completely recover. I will continue prayers for Fluff and for you too. You have been so very stressed, I am sure. Once Fluff is all well, you deserve a day at a beauty salon with a massage and all the trimmings!!

Really, I said it to John today, I said, "I just feel sooooo good". He looked at me weird... I said, because of Fluff, I just feel so good. It is such a joy seeing her walk (though like a drunken sailor, sorta), and have her personality back, where she responds to things you say.
I FEEL GREAT..........Thank you all Bulldogsworld.

She still has to go in daily for her IV meds, but she is doing wonderful. She now walks around, in fact, walked from the car out to potty, then into the house. She still doesn't want to eat. Working on that today. But, no more fevers, and the leg's swelling is coming down. Still looks awful, but better, draining a little.
I'll try and get a picture of it later to compare how it was the other day.
When I walked out with her from the vets, the one vet started singing, "She's a Surviver".... What a week this has been. And still, she has a way to go. But, believe me, for a couple days there, it was very, very questionable.
