that you will be in my prayers. I can't express how sorry I am. You've been a great presence on BDW for so long. But I know that your presence in the lives of your family and friends will be missed a million times more. I hope you have tons of love and support from the people that care about you. And you will remain in my prayers.

Please do not give up. The cumulative prayers of the people on this board have shown themselves to have an incredibly powerful effect. We will definitely continue to send you countless prayers.
If there is anything I can do to help, please contact me. And that includes if you need a place to live (regardless of what state you are in), someone to talk to, and anything else that I can do.
Again, please do not give up. When my mother was in her late 50s, she contracted bacterial meningitis She worked in the medical records department of the hospital; back then doctors were much less into washing their hands after doing their rounds. After completing their rounds, they would come sit right next to my mother in the records office and do their charts, so they probably brought it to her. The disease put her in a coma for around two weeks. All of her doctors gave up, said she wasn't going to make it, and suggested we have last rites administered. But then one new doctor was brought in for a consult. He tried a different treatment. The next day my mother was sitting up in a chair and talking as tho nothing had happened to her. Prayers can and do bring miracles.
I don't mean to invade your privacy, but would mind if I ask what your name is, at least your first name?

move back to the Mainland on 16th January anyway !!!
We thought the place would be sold by now. Our 15yr old son starts back at his old high school on Feb 1st and so we have taken a rental property till our house sells back in the same suburb we lived for 21 years !
The market down here in Tasmania is unusually quiet at the moment when it is supposed to be the 'busy season' !!
We do have an offer on a Contract from the first people to look at the place BUT they want 60 days to sell their home !!..not holding our breath over that though !
Thanks for thinking of us
Cheers for now
P.S Wuld you like to buy a fully renovated 3 bedroom home on 1 acre in rural Tasmania by any chance ????!! LOL

Thanks Anne! I am so sorry to hear that. How devastating. I surely wish him peace and a peaceful passing. You also never know if they will come up with a solution. Is he doing chemo? Sometimes that really works. I am so very sorry.
