I am not too familiar with all the different vitamins that should be given to our babies. Right now I don't have Mocha on any vitamins at all. So I was hoping for some advise on what daily maintenance supplements I should put her on. She is 1-1/2.
So this may be a silly question but is the Ester-C I see referenced on here the one that you buy at the grocery store or pharmacy that is a powder you mix with water and drink? Pictured here: ?????? Also please give me some suggestions on what are some good vitamin supplements to give. What all do they need??? Sorry I just never gave my last baby anything and she lived to be 13, so I'm wondering if I should be giving Mocha and what?
Thank you!!!
I'm using it long-term to prevent Holly's bladder stones,
so I didn't stop. However, I won't start Quincy on it.
Yes, thankfully! It's
getting better... not completely gone yet but definitely a lot better!

Yes, that makes me very happy!
Thanks for asking!
Vickie, how is Mocha's IDC doing?
Has it healed yet? I've been wondering : )
Funny.....I just talked to my vet about this...
cause I give Cain vitamin C for his arthritis and she told me to keep him on it....never mentioned what your vet said. But, I guess since I am giving it to him for a problem, it does not matter, he will always be on it....

My vet said I shouldn't give dogs vitamin C
He said dogs manufacture it themselves and if I give a supplement, their bodies will stop making it and they'll be dependent on the supplement.
This is the same Ester C I give my dogs...
and I give Friday Co-Q 10 (30 mg) due to her age. They all get Joint Max chews to either help with Arthritis or to prevent it. And Friday and Cain get 1 Phenocaine 2 times a day for pain management for their arthritis. Last but not least, Cain is getting extra calcium now due to head shakes and tear stains....those are just a fruit flavored rolaid per day.
