yea the rake and shovel is the old stand by..it might work the best and it is easy enough too..I have both of them here and would not need to go out and get something else..
this last one did not hold up that I bought at all

i follow the 80% meat 10% bone 10% organ rule....i use lamb,chicken,pork....i also like rabbit and deer but use this only once in a while....i also becaue i like it and their is a farm near by...buffloa,ostrich (that has a tendency to give the dogs bad gas) but once in a while i get ostrich eggs try them some time ....
right now i am getting alot of deer....from friends who hunt....
its alot of fun to do raw....do it once a week to get the feel for it...
becasue i feed any where from 2 to 5 dogs...i bought a freezer....i buy spring lambs and have them butchered for about 75 cents a lb.....i buy whole beef cows and split half with my brother...so my meat comes to about 80 cents a lb ,,,,, no fancy cuts....my brother his cost is about 1.90$ becasue he has cuts done....

Everyone is firm, so the rake and shovel work well. It's still gross. I'd like someone to invent "Poo-be-gone" spray. You spray and it disintegrates.

Better yet, someone make a designer bulldog that doesn't poop!

it's really more of a scoop. Maybe 8 inches total length. Works great and since we keep it outside, it won't rust

I boil up 2 potatoes and about 1/2 kilo of brown rice all in the same water.

When cold I add raw grated carrot, 2 cloves of chopped garlic and a finely diced head of brocoli.

To this I mix in approx 1 1/2 kilos of raw chicken and stir everything together....That's it !!

I keep some in the fridge to use over the next few days and freeze the rest for later in the week.... this batch usually lasts about 6-7 days for 2 bullies

Doesn't take any time at all as I usually boil the rice and potatoes together while I'm doing other stuff in the kitchen anyway... Oh and try not to over cook the rice as the mix tends to go a bit 'stoggy' if overcooked. The potatoes just boil away into the rice and are never seen again !!! LOL

I was out shopping and saw them 'on sale', when I got home he came out to the car to help bring in the shopping and it wasn't till I handed it to him and said here's a present for you, Hubby replied "Wow, that's the best Valentines gift I've ever had!!"

We both collapsed laughing in the driveway and to this day he reminds me of my very 'romantic' side !! LOL

I did that before and might just do it again ..
some of the new scoopers are not that great...to be honest..

my neighbor has a pooper scooper and she just "accidentally" drops all the poop by the time she gets back to her house...

hahaha....the rest of the time is debatable I actually came home from a dog show last year with a pretty bright Blue new pooper scooper for him. He broke the handle on the old one.

We also feed raw (w/a little kibble) and there is less poop but he does do the duty. I believe he prefers the rack type one (which I prefer). The poops are usually firm little round nuggets and easy to pick up....unless it is raining, then they are softer.

if this works for the poop and scoop...
I want to hear as much as I can..lol

and even if you do have to scoop a fresh one, it's very dry, no nasty mess at all.

But I didn't know that raw poop goes away, I am interested too!

Our dogs poo turns white and then turns to dust and blows away in a few days too and we feed cooked brown rice with raw vegies and raw chicken meat !! What a bonus huh ?!?!? LOL

but did not know that..really never heard that before..
