Ectropion ..Surgery?

Hi all, went to the vet and stated that he has ectropion, lower eyelids turning out. They claim it's only an issue if his eyes get contaminated or irritated, which doesn't seem to be the case thus far. He is about 6 months old. Should we consider surgery or just wait it out? I have attached pictures so you can see if it's somewhat normal or severe case. I'm not too sure to be honest. Thanks in advance.

Yep, that's what it is, alright.

I think I would wait until his head/face fully matures. happy.gif

Awwww....what a sweetheart!

His gorgeous Bully face will change as he matures so give him some time. Some Bullies just are a little droopy, just a cosmetic thing. Unless eye problems develop you shouldn't have to do anything about it. happy.gif

I agree. He

is very young and as he grows his head will grow and change somewhat. I'd watch carefully rather than do surgery.

He is young

and I wouldn't jump into surgery. As long as you watch him closely for any infections he should be fine....and this may tighten up as he matures and his head gets bigger.
