Okay -- Daisy is 43 pounds -- the vet told me to start giving her Benadryl for her seasonal allergies (red eyes). I picked up the tablet form so how much should I give her and how often??

Hey Kim,
Our vet said to give Madison 25mg. (one tablet) per 50 pounds. So, she only gets one at a time. Also, our vet said not to give them but every 8 hours as to avoid breathing trouble. Hope this helps. Oh, also you might ask your vet about an allergy pill called Chlorephenarimine...it works wonders! Madison gets it if she's having a flare up and she can get up to 2 pills a day...they work wonders! Much better, and faster than benadryl. Let me know how she's doing. give her and hug and kiss for us!
