Dolly has really STRONG eye lid mus-kles!

We have to put ointment in her eye 4 times a day & WOW! She can clamp her eye shut so, so tight! It takes both my husband & me to get the meds in there.LOL Her eye is getting better but she's still doing some squinting.

It takes two to do that job on Ollie too :) Once they know what

up to, the second and consecutive times are nearly impossible. Little smarty!

It took two for us also

We had to do the ointment treatment twice a day and it really took me AND my husband to accomplish it. It's not fun but it worked.

I know, Dixie used to run and hide when she'd hear the microwave

we used to warm her water in the microwave a few seconds and then soak the tubes....boy, that's pretty sad - huh!! LOL

.....and they seem to get stronger as the weeks go on! LOL

not sure if anyone shared with you, because our regular vet didn't either - took the eye specialist to give us a heads up, but some of those oinments are easier to apply if you put the tube in warm water for a few seconds first - then it comes out like liquid as opposed to gel

I can tell you which Dixie was on and that we did that for if you want

Dolly are you being difficult

your strong eyelid muscles only add to your beauty

Stubborn!

Bullies only cooperate when they want to. LOL
Vet asked me if I wanted drops or ointment. We had to do this before with Dolly & I know I can do a little bit better with the ointment but Dolly doesn't make it very easy. happy.gif

I know EXACLYwhat you mean!

With all of Stella's eye issues, I have had to do my share of rassling with her if she's not in the mood. The worse for her is drops - I try to be good but sometimes I end up letting them go from too far and they really plop in there!

Hope Dolly feels better soon!

I bet you could break

toothpicks with those eyelids. Dolly, you're just tuff all over! LOL

I've never had to do eye stuff to Onslow (knock on wood) I bet he'd be the same way. ahahha
