pretty boring in real life. Don't smoke, don't do drugs, rarely drink, don't do much but work, movies, and bulldogs. If I do go to Vegas, y'all will probably throw me off the roof of the hotel.

I finally filled it up the other day, and she was so excited. Whether she stands in it, lays in it, drinks from it, or pees in it... it's all good!

On the other hand, Grady doesn't care for the pool at all. He won't get in on his own, and only uses it as a huge water bowl. Knowing that Pepper pees in it, and that the water gets gross so quickly, I highly discourage the drinking. Can't believe they don't mind the difference between the dirty pool water and their fresh, filtered water?

Put only an 1-1/2" of water. Not too cold. Put toys and bones in the water. Play with the toys in the pool. Keep throwing the toys in the pool so the dog has to go in to get them. Gradually use deeper water. Some bully's love batting things with their paws under the water. Rugby used to dive for rocks in her pool for hours. I am a bad bully mommy! I did not realize how much the rocks have started to grind down her teeth! She doesn't chew on them. It was just from picking them up. Now we use kongs of all different sizes. They move funny under water like the rocks.

Ya gotta come to Vegas!!!

Of course we bought it for our boxer Ally last year, but she's not all that interested in it. Gracie on the other hand thinks it's awesome. She'll get in it (with water), and run around the perimeter in circles while Ally circles the outside. The funniest thing is after I empty it and start dragging it around the side of the house to where we store it, she'll jump in it and sit down real quick, riding in it like it's a sled or something.

Unfortunately Gracie got in it without any water in it this weekend and proceeded to chew holes in the bottom on one side. Solution? We propped the leaky side up on a brick wall and just filled it up to the "bend", so now she's even got a slide!

I'll try and find a pic soon, but Madison loves her pool. Although she won't lay down in it, she loves to stand and play with her toys. However, at first she didn't. I got her used to it by standing in it with her and bringing some of her toys in there with us...a tennis ball...some things like that. We live in TX and the heat can be awful, so she only gets to go Swimming in the evenings but she loves it!

Theo loves water any way he can get it, pool, sprinkler, bird bath, whatever. Try putting something he really likes in and get in with him, Theo loves that.

I can't help with pool advice, but the picture of him with his floatie is soooo cute! I love it!

and once I saw her in there, I jumped right in! Plus she had lots of my favorite toys on hand and they got wet with me. Now I beg until I gets water in my pool.
