I have never had any trouble giving a pet an aspirin, I am no talking one every 4 hours, but one a day. I have even had my vet (excellent vet) say it was ok, especially for pain or arthritis. Just what I have been told and done for 19 years now.

Aspirin thins the blood do not do it. It could make her bleed excessively.

That is normally true but this little bulldog just had major surgery and aspirin is a blood thinner.

Del Ray spent the first night at the vet. She came home to us the next day and never moaned or cried at all. The absolute only difference we could see was that she walked up the steps one at a time instead of bounding up like she usually does. Didn't see any changes in her poop either...

Maybe you could just call your vet and ask if that is a normal side effect of surgery.

I dont think she is in pain. But if it would make you feel better give her an aspirin.

But for the most part, shes doing better, last nite she was moaning and would let out these tiny crys, but shes lots better today, cept this morning she was pooin this black stuff ?? Dont knwo what it was, did del ray do this

Del Ray had no pain meds when she came home after spaying. She took the stairs a little more carefully than usual. Other than that, you would never have known she had surgery.

Is Molly acting like she is hurting?
