Do teeth continue to grow?
Submitted by Anonymous on April 20, 2010 - 5:26pmI just saw a picture of Jodie's beautiful Elsa, and realized that Elsa's teeth are much bigger than my Sheldon's. Sheldon's teeth, the ones in between the pfangs, are really tiny, they just break through the gumb line. Will they continue to grow, or is something wrong with his teeth? Thanks.

Chicklets
Sumo has little bitty chicklets in between his lower canines. They are very small but all in a straight row and all straight except for one that angels to the right. His mom and grandma have the same exact crooked tooth
I wouldn't worry, some dogs just have smaller teeth.

Thanks Patti. He is 16 months and does like to chew.
Some just have "nubbins"...
I've seen some that are larger than others, seems normal. Also, if your dog chews a lot, it can wear them down. Nothing to worry about. But, if Sheldon is full grown, then that is just how his teeth will be.
