Diesel's show pic...

Thanks everyone for your replies! It means a lot to us to be able to share. My family is actually starting to get into this now. My husband is bragging and he doesn't have a clue what any of this means.LOL At least I have you guys to share it with. For those of you who are unaware, Diesel is a rescue. He had six homes in 18 months. I have had him since December and he is coming around. Unfortunately, as you can see in this pic, he had an ear infection that was neglected and he lost his fold. His feet are still bad but considering he was having trouble walking six months ago I am happy with his improvement. Who knows, maybe he will be a daddy some day but first he has too get clearances from the vet.
PS Missed the judge for the pic. Oh well, I was on such a high , it was a small inconvenience.

He is STUNNING

would never have thought he was a rescue. This just goes to prove what a little love, patience and kindness will get you. Beautiful!! Good job!

way to go big guuyyyy!!! :)

What am I going to do with you, your just way to cute for your own good lol!
AWESOME PIC and WAY TO GO BIG BOY!
Mama must be proud, tell her to go and get you a teen burger now lol!

can i ask a question about his ear not folding right? (patti!?)

Do the judges take points off or understand that that an infection makes his ear not rose?

It seems to me, but of course I'm not the judge, that a problem with the ears (especially if it was caused by an accident/infection) is very superficial. Do judges see this in the same way?

I was just wondering how something like that works. Say a very nice dog was in an accident and it's ear or leg (or something) had to be removed...it wouldn't take away from his genetic capabilities of producing show dog offspring...so would this dog be unshowable!?

Please don't think I'm singling Diesel out, I was just pondering.

OH AND CONGRATS BIG TIME!

what a gorgeous mug!

handsome dog, so happy he's doing so well
Since my Spike still has so many of the same problems Diesel had, I was wondering what you did to get him in the shape he is today? food? medication etc? Thank you so much

and so lucky to have found you.

He is a winner:)

Great looking boy:)

WOW

He is just beautiful. It just shows me that I have a lot of work to do with my Annie. She still thinks she is the boss (she probably is). No, I am not planning to show her other than to the neighbors, I just want her to obey a little. I can't believe you have just had him since December, and he is a rescue on top of that. Way to go!!!

GORGEOUS
