Did you see the story about the puppy that swallowed the knife? (not a bullie)

I'm just in shock that he survived! What a trooper!

An x-ray of Jake, the 12-week-old Staffordshire Bull Terrier cross from Merseyside, England who swallowed a seven-inch kitchen knife, is seen in this handout photo made available Wednesday, April 9, 2003. The knife begins in Jake's oesophagus at the left of the image, passes behind his larynx through his stomach into the bowel. Jake's owners became worried as the puppy was reluctant to curl up, vets x-raying the dog operated immediately and removed the knife. According to his owners, Jake was up and about within 24 hours after the surgery. (AP Photo/PA, Peoples Dispensary for Sick Animals)

John Mallett, 22, from Liverpool, England poses for photographers Tuesday April 8, 2003 with his 12-week-old Staffordshire Bull Terrier cross Jake and the seven inch knife Jake swallowed. The knife, which went from his oesophagus, passed behind the larynx and right through his stomach down into the bowel, was discovered when the dog was x-rayed after he was reluctant to curl up and vets operated immediately to remove it. Jake has made a full recovery following the incident. (AP Photo/PA, Phil Noble)

How'd he swallow that in the first place?!

Sheesh!

What a strange story, but I'm so glad he's recovering so well.

Is that really real ??? That little guy could swallow that thing = OUCH! Glad he's ok!
