ALL DOGS bred and sold by BULLDOG CENTRAL are accompanied by an accurate, up-to-date medical history. Dogs are checked by a veterinarian prior to delivery or shipping and are guaranteed to be sound and in good health at this time.
>>>>>>>>>>>>>.
The above is from the breeders web site....Well, from his guarantee I'd say he owes some money back. Especially with the documentation that you have, and will have.
Did he give you Cody's AKC papers? Something to show he sold you the dog, and he now belongs to "us"....
Also, another interesting thought.....the IRS....The reason this guy only accepts cash, etc is probably he doesn't report this money. I'd say also turning him into the IRS,bet he doesn't report all this income....
Wire fraud and mail fraud are possible recourses based on that
representation on the web site. In addition to the IRS, perhaps the Postal Inspectors should be contacted. I'm no expert on criminal law, but a Mafia big wig was nailed a few years ago on mail fraud charges despite the fact nothing was ever actually mailed. My recollection is that if the product typically involved mailings pertaining to its sale, then a prosecution is possible, even if there were no actual mailings. Does anyone know a prosecutor?
Re: This Breeder is on the Global network?????
I'm thrilled and proud of the very tough stand we take about who we will list and wont list. I make no bones about declining a breeder. I wont mention a name but I have in the past declined to list likely the most well known breeder twice. Almost any web site will list a breeder for teh asking. With us we do care and we do check and recheck our breeders and continue to follow up on them. It is important to me why your breeding, what your breeding and your ethics. If I even get any doubts it wont happen. That is why I'm proud of the group of people we list. That is why I also hope that we have earned the respect of ethical breeders and the hate of unethical breeders. Send me your information and I can get some contacts working on this stuff.
Copy all pages to his site then open Microsoft Word and Paste it
Then will not have the chance to change because will be saved as it appeared today and he can't get into your computer
Oh boy thats so sad:(
what does this guy do hind the dogs, from view..jerk
&*^$$#@(*)(&$#@ grrr
I will try and write to them now/ n/m
.
Another thought....AKC....
He is selling, and just sold an AKC dog. Though Ce was not allowed to see the other dogs, just the condition of Cody is surely indicative of the conditions and care of all of them.
A signed written statement, along with photos, needs to be sent to AKC Field Investigations. They can do something about it.
I'm not familiar on how that works...
since I don't have a web site, etc . But, there must be a webmaster or someone in charge, and I agree, they should be informed and he should be removed.
Web site saved.....
Another way to save the page is to go to File, drop down and select Save As and then select a location on your hard drive and you not only get the web page but all supporting documents that go with the web page.....
"The more I know people, the more I love my bulldogs."
I think it would still be binding
It didn't say all dogs Bred and sold....Cody was SOLD there. And even if not, the rest of it applies to Cody, and we know it was falsified by the owner and vet.
what i really feel for..
are the females...they have such hard labor, and need so much aftercare, puppies too....you can bet your lifesavings they aren't getting it.
Lu
Very very true---who will be next to dump out in the trash by th
he has another stud too ---wonder what he looks like or when he will be next.
saving the webpage
Patti to save the web page with that information just open that page up then on your keyboard by the number buttons to the right should be a key named "Prt Scn" or something like that. Press that button then open up a Word document, or better yet a new e-mail and paste it (press the Ctrl and V buttons simultaneously)to the e-mail then send it to your self to prove time and date. You might want to send it to everyone who has been a driver in the various legs of this transfer. If that doesn't work, e-mail me the page and I'll try it and send it back to you.
Including Del Ray's mother....
I was told she is still there...
And who knows how many others...
This Breeder is on the Global network?????
Hum I wonder if who ever runs that would like to know what he sells????????????
because we cannot forget...
that there are all the other poor bullys there....Cody and the condition he was sold in, might be their only hope for getting out of this hell...
Lu
We checked...
and it says all dogs "sold AND bred"...which would exclude Cody because he didn't breed Cody, he purchased him from another breeder. He always seems to wiggle off the hook...
The only thing we did see was the claim that you'd get an accurate and up to date vet record...which we were told did not exist for Cody. All we were given was this little pink slip of paper that said he was examined and was free of infectious and communicable disease.
well then
the breeder gave false information OR falsified papers. I doubt seriously that there was a vet open at 7 am on Saturday , and that they took him.
What a rotten bastard, and prolly a rotten bastard vet, too.
Vets can CERTAINLY be reported, again it is imperative that Cody will see a vet that can write a report on him BEFORE he is cleaned up..
Lu
But Deb...his web site says.....
ALL DOGS sold or bred have this guarantee. Unless he had a contract with Ce that excludes any health guarantee, what he said "verbally" doesn't mean sh*t. This is what he will get in trouble for. Now, if someone "computer savvy" can "save all that page" from his web site, in case he goes in and changes the wording, we have proof. This has been done with some other "puppy millers" we've dealt with, where wordings were changed on their web site.
vet
I handed the vet check papers over to Ce when she took Cody for the next leg of the trip. He is claiming to have seen Cody this morning! I don't believe it though, because the owner's sister told me he brought Cody to her house last night and that he wasn't eating.
I personally think the owner told the vet to write up the paper...just my opinion. Just don't know how Cody could have flown to the vet this morning by himself...especially considering that we arrived at 8:30 am to pick him up.
Deb
I have a in with the state of Il rev
I will put in a phone call first thing Monday morning
i WOULD
like the name of the vet...please.
Lu
Isn't there supposed to be only one around there? i would inquire if they indeed see Cody that day.
We can do that much.
(on monday, that is)
lu
did he tell Ce that warranties are only for puppies or was it wr
I'm glad that you got the papers signed over as proof!
Emily
Agreed
We need to wait until everyone is home from the journey...and decide together what to do about all this. Also, Cody needs to be checked by a real vet to see just what the extent of his problems are.
Not good news...
Sorry...he got around all that by telling Ce right up front that the health guarantee is only for puppies...not adult dogs. His sister did, however, sign Cody's AKC papers over to Ce, so that should prove ownership and purchase...I would hope.
And yes, I'm sure the IRS would love to have a chat with him.
AWESOME idea!!!!
about the IRS...
Gosh, i badly want to tell that guy what a nasty scumball @$%@^ of @%@$^@ he is.
But lets all think for a minute..
"Revenge is a dish best served cold..."
We do not want to mess up any chance of getting that guy held responsible by being hasty. We have to have a "game plan"..it has to be ironclad.
Lu
Good thinking!
I hope you all got some sort of receipt or video documentation that proves you bought Cody.
Emily
