Each person who donated had a choice, as I did. I chose not to get involved for my own reasons but it was my choice just as those who donated made a choice. I don't feel bad about not donating but after seeing the pics and hearing all the terrible stories, I do feel Cody is a real Rescue and I do donate to rescue.

My thoughts and prayers go out to Cody and those who are helping him. I also ask that God help us put an end to the actions of this breeder.

the people that are trying to cause trouble (same ones every time, too...lol) have even contributed to this...so there are no worries.
The other people that are just voicing concern about paying the bad guy...well, they just have valid concerns and should be able to voice them...i don't think they want money back.
I think EVERYBODY is going to be THRILLED if that money helps to bring down the "breeder". The only concerns were that we shouldn't make a habit of rescuing animals by paying a lot of money for them, therefore enabling the "breeders" to mistreat even more animals.
I think it has been established, that we will not just let it go. Everything will be tried to get that guy down....to get the dogs away from him. I think everyone is in agreement that this would be money well spent...not just to rescue Cody, but to get the others out of the situation.
Now we will just put our trust into the great gals here that are working on it behind the scenes and let them do what needs done.
In time we will all hear the outcome, until then we shouldn't jeopardize anything by being hasty..(i know i was red hot angry this morning and ready to storm that bastards house..lol, but i have cooled off now)

the vet said his lungs were full ...but that her fear at that time was possible Pneumonia,a stress reaction...but he was gasping his tongue was going blue so the treatment had to be fast and cover all basis..he will indeed be geting antibiotics,eye ointment..and I am sure various other treatments...thank you for your questions to ask...I will take them with me..

Was it like asthma? Or was it like fluid on his lungs?
Make sure and get him some eye drops today from them like Gentamicin eye drops or ointment for his eyes. What did they say about the tumour? Steroids sound like they thought it was like asthma. Are they going to give him oral antibiotics, too? Ask how his heart is, too. Any murmurs? Did they test him for heartworms? When you pick him up, ask these questions.

MAKE SURE AND GIVE US THE TOTAL AMOUNT FOR THE VET BILL SO WE WILL KNOW WHAT YOU ARE UP AGAINST. I am sure you will be lucky to get out the door for $300-400. I sent some extra money to your account but it is not near that kind of money when I saw his eyes.

I sure hope that we are able to put an end to this mans cruelty. 38 females? That should be enough to end him I would think. From my dealings with people just about Flash's problems I've found that you get a good lead and then you run into a roadblock, it just seems no one cares what happens to these animals except for a minority of people. There just doesn't seem to be a law to protect them, and that's a very SAD situation. I am very glad that we rescued him from his poor environment, I only wish that every baby out there in his same situation could be helped, I will never understand how one could let such a sweet animal live like that. Good luck to Cody, I know he's in good hands and I am glad that Kristae realized what might be best for him at this point. Maybe when he is better she may be able to care for him.
