If so, how is our Stella?

I'm here!

Work has started with a bang so I can't respond to posts the way I'd like to.

Thanks for asking Auntie Lisa (and Onslow too).

Stella appears to be on the mend. She was still throwing up as of yesterday morning so our vet sent out some blood for an additional pancreas test. But no hurling since yesterday noon, so I'm feeling optimistic.

But my poor girl is STARVING!! I only get to give her 1 tbsp of food (rice and hamburger) every three hours, with a bit of water. I suppose it's a good sign that she wants more food but she is totally giving me the stink eye (blind version) because she's disappointed with what I have to offer. I am also shoving foul pills down her throat. I usually throw pills in with her food and she doesn't really notice but now there's not enough food to hide the nasty things. So, I have to wrestle with her to have her swallow them. Sometimes she pretends that she has and then I find it later on the bathroom carpet or somewhere else remote (stinker).

All this to say that I think she's going to be fine.

P.S. The second pancreas test is, apparently really costly, which is why the vet had decided to wait. Of course, now that we've had it done, Stella is doing better. Hey, what's another $500 for a tummy ache. Sigh...
