Bullies love water?
Submitted by admin on April 20, 2010 - 5:27pmI have a new bullie puppy--she is three months old. We are astonished at how much she loves water--the minute we brought her home and into the back yard, she jumped into the wading pool and laid down. She begs to get in the bath tub with us. Unusual? Or normal?

She's got a new wading pool, with a built-in slide that she uses, and I either have to put her in the house or have someone there to hold her in order to use the hose on anything.

Very normal and common. Bullies are known for loving the water, but not being very good swimmers. They will charge right into the deep end, if you know what I mean, so be careful with your baby. My Ruby has a life vest when we go swimming in the pool. She loves it. She has her own kiddie wading pool and she also loves to chase the hose water. Those crazy bullies! Gotta love them!

Oscar loves water - he gets into his wading pool veeerrryyyy slowly, one foot at a time and then he hops out and modocks all over the house and yard. It really energizes him - it's hysterical to watch.
