I was so proud of him. It probably didn't hurt that it is cold, but sunny today whereas yesterday was cloudy, snowing lightly. I do agree the stress of travel had something to do with it. I thought the comment about our bulldogs not being Einstein was so true. I truly believe he is the smartest, most astute dog in the world. Actually, more of a human than dog honestly.
Regardless, I am happy he readjusted. I know he is really happy in Boston and loves the people and mental stimulation of living in Back Bay verse suburban Florida. I think (hope) I made the right decision by taking with me. I could not imagine life w/out Bubba after 8 years.
Have a good Saturday everyone.
YAY for pooping!
it must be a big change from Fl...Mine arent enjoying this burst of cold Fl has right now!
much bully love~Christine, Dupree, Marley and Savannah
well that is great news...
I KNOW my bullies do not handle stress very well for sure..
I have seen them go off their food ..when they are stressed out too
travel is hard on anyone..and even a bulldog likely..
glad he is better and back to his old self this am.
what a difference a nights sleep can make!
so happy to hear he's doing well!

Good job, Bubba!
I think you're absolutely right...having mental stimulation by a more active community/surroundings is best for this middle-aged dog. They tend to want to sleep so much...this will keep him awake and healthier...and ALL THINGS IN MODERATION.
great news~~~!!!
hugs
