Boo's Reviews -- Canon MultiPass F80 Multi Function Machine

If anyone is shopping for a multi function machine, your Boo very highly recommends the Canon MultiPass F80. It prints, it copies, it scans, it faxes -- all four functions in color -- and if I have anything to do with it, it will soon also produce Jif peanut butter, as soon as Doofus creates the necessary attachment.

The F80 is also a photo printer, producing borderless 4x6s in less than one minute. The photos are virtually indistinguishable from those produced by Canon's amazing i850 photo printer (which Sam's now sells for $138). The color scanner is similarly amazing. Doofus scanned one of my baby photos and found it just about impossible to tell the difference between the original photo, taken with a 35 mm camera, and a print out of the scanned photo done on the F80.

Text printing is also very fast, rated as high as 20 pages per minute. Copies can be made by either placing a single document on the glass platen or using the ADF, which can also be used for faxes and scans (up to either 20 or 30 pages/photos at a time, forgot which).

This is also one very fine looking machine. The Canon i850 is one great photo printer/text printer, but is slightly ug-a-lee. The F80, however, is quite sleek. I am going now. Wanted to try and copy some Popeye's fried chicken breasts to see if I can make as many as I want.

Boo... ...You sweet girl...

...you could endorse the "deep-fried chicken diet!"

About that ADF

Doofus calls it the Automatic Document Feeder, but I know it's really an Automatic Damnfinefriedchicken Feeder. Gonna copy dat Popeye's!

"Doofus" recommended the Canon i850 to me awhile back ....

Some people say it's an unattractive unit. I personally don't care as long as it prints nice photos (which it does).

But if the new machine can make Jif and Popeyes Chicken ... I can see why you're raving about it!

A picnic waiting to happen with the click of a button!
