Boarding kennel in CT?

First post here, but I read a lot. My two pups have been with me 24/7 for over a year. I will be leaving for 3 weeks in the fall, and need some advice as to where to leave them for those weeks. I hate the thought, so I need a place which is caring, clean, reliable, and will take good care of them for me. If anyone has any experience with such a place in CT, please let me know. Thanks

Re: Boarding kennel in CT?

I'm not from CT, so I can't make any personal recommendations. 3 weeks is a long time, so I would try and find a place where you pups will get a lot of personal attention and not be locked up in a crate most of the time. I would check into a doggie day care type place, they usually have cageless boarding. Or try and find a vet that would keep them in runs, rather than a crate. Do a search for "cageless boarding connecticut" on Google. A lot of stuff came up when I tried it. Goold Luck.

Well, we used our vet's boarding services.

My parents' left their lab at a great place in Durham called Larkin's Run.

That's about all I know!
