A BIG thank you!

Thank you everyone for the well wishes for PollyAnna. She is home and doing very well! Her vet did a telephone consultation with the orthopedic specialist and they came to the agreement that surgery would not be a good idea after all for her. Both hips are loose and arthritis is setting in. Surgery would not help at this time and would be a bigger risk. PollyAnna is not having any leg pain now but her wild zoomie days need to be limited.. She is currently on Duramax (only when she needs it), and Dasuquin for her joint supplement. The poor girl slept like a baby last night after all of the excitment at the hospital and after effects of the anesthesia. Thanks again every-Bully for the support!

Hey, Pollyanna...

MY advice to you is to be goin ahead and gettin REALLY cozy comfy. Just lie around ALL the time and get your momma to be bringing you food and treats and toys and all kinds of good stuff.

Good to hear!

that she doesn't need surgery and hope she continues to not have any leg pain.

LOL...been there and done that here..and it is NOT easy..

I had to put Bella in a crate once in awhile to try to get her to settle..
but that did not work for long..
will find it hard with Pollyanna..NO idea how you can hold a bully still..
maybe a good knuckle bone to chew..
that would keep her quite and busy for a time period anyhow..
goodluck with the cutie..
knuckle bone worked for Bella..it keeps her busy ..

well that is a good thing eh??

I bet you are pleased with that outcome..
Pollyanna is a sweetie and surgery would have been really rough on her too..
trying to hold still a bulldog with a case of the zoomies is hard work..
how to you plan on holding the lady down???

I am so glad

that she is home , so the surgery is not an option at least they were honest with you, but happy that the meds will ease the pain for her,
