He will be seen by the best specialist in the area if the numbers keep dropping again. So far, based on symptoms it does seem he had a really bad reaction to medication and he seem to have a hard time bouncing back. We did all tests on the planet, poor boy only did not get scoped as they were concerned about him being so weak at that time. But he is getting stronger in my opinion, so perhaps this could be an option. Still scared... We are watching his spleen as well, so he is twice a day at the vet, he is constantly checked. If he declines by tomorrow they will do another transfusion to stabilize him and get to the next step. But I could swear, that poop is looking better by the hour. Hope there is a better number by tomorrow to report to all of you. Pat, you are so sweet.

I had major internal bleeding one time after a surgery. the bleeding would not stop no matter what, no matter the number of transfusions. they had to call a hemotologist..for this and they ended up opening me wide open to repair it. the surgeon had damaged my spleen. I also had internal bleeding on other surgeries. I see a hemotologist all the time for my blood now. this is something that I for sure did not expect with myself to be honest.
Yes Pat, thanks for asking....
