I have to honestly say that all my horses that I had a real love for I had sold before they passed, except 1 and she was 30 so she lived a good long life. I know I'm going to be in the nut house when I lose Norbert. Just chokes me up thinking about it.

a 15 year old Vizsla (very old!).
We had 6 dogs when we moved here in 1996. I lost Jackpot (Bully) in 1997, Quigley in June, 2001, Dolly in November, 2001 and Steffi departed in February of this year. We have Myke, Barkley and Pride now.
You would have had a much better chance knowing about all of them had I gotten a digital camera MUCH sooner.
You will see more of Barkley now that the weather is getting nicer. (It's no fun to take pics of a dog in crummy weather.) He could've stayed in the house if he had behaved himself, but he turned into a marking maniac after being boarded so long during our transfer to Helena.

Go to the Breeders link on the homepage, then scroll down to the non-breeders links. We are Silver Dollar Bulldogs ... you can see Barkley and his littermate, Quigley. I lost Quigley two years ago to pneumonia, which was a complication of a neurological disorder.

Pride and Barkley. Barkley was my show dog until he developed palate trouble. He's won alot and nearly completed his championship. Once he began to have trouble and could no longer be shown, I acquired Pride. You haven't heard about Barkley much because he doesn't live in the house. He was a house-dog as a pup until we transferred to Helena, then all our dogs went into a boarding situation for nearly half a year. And the house-training unraveled. Now that nicer weather is arriving (and I'm equipped with a digital camera this year), I'm hoping to share more pics of Barkley. But, like I said, he wilts when I point a camera at him ... so the pics won't be as polished as what you see with Pride.
The photo itself was pretty boring .....
I tried to spruce it up with flowers or something .. anxious for a pic of Barkley to enter in the contest. But it just wasn't coming together right.
But he does look grand as a watercolor!
That is beautiful.................
Good Job again Gail!!!!!!!!! You are getting really good. Keep them coming!
David, Holly, Dozer and Angel
So sorry to hear about that
My first bulldog died last year. You just never quite get over it.
Barkley, you're a handsome guy...
...looking forward to seeing more of you and getting to know you!!
2001 was the worst .....
struggling to save Pride, but losing Quigley AND Dolly ....
I was severely depressed through most of that year.
Wow isn't it hard when you lose those pets?

And there's Myke too ....

Poor Barkley...Cool Pic
I thought you only had Pride, Noah and a couple of horses. Barkley evidently got lost in the shed

Honest to goodness, that slipped by me too!
I didn't know you had Barkley!
Heck, I would have address "Benson" to all of you, instead of just you and Pride! How rude of me.

He's a cutie! I don't care if he's camera shy - show us some more pictures of him.
Julia
It is an actual photo of Barkley ....
enhanced by the watercolor feature of Photo Explosion Deluxe.
Yes, I have two Bulldogs ....

Webbie is familiar with my Barkley.
That is a cool picture
Did you make that? Is it with photo shop?
I didn't know you had 2 bulldogs either. I have only seen you talk about Pride.
You have two bulldogs?
Great pic, sorry for the dumb question. Now I feel bad I only included Pride in the desert photos.
Yes, he is my guy .....
Nearly a champion, but palate trouble plagued him too.
He is a son of Dolly, who was my first Bulldog.
Gail that is beautiful
Gail, Is Barkley your boy? n/m

If Monet had had a computer and a model like Barkley... tee hee hee!

He won't play to the camera the way Pride will ......
His pics are very difficult ... he just wilts and waits for some lovin'.

You are getting very good....
