Back from the week end, got to meet Anna and Benya...
Submitted by Anonymous on April 20, 2010 - 5:25pmI've been down to San Diego for three shows this week end, and guess who I got to meet on Friday. Anna and Benya were there, she only entered for the Specialty show on Friday. And, Benya took a 1st for 9-12 puppy. Great Win Anna......
I took pictures, but it wasn't with the digital, so I have to wait to get the film developed to show everyone. Anna is beautiful, and Benya is quite a boy.
As for myself, the male I was showing (that needs a 2nd major) went 3rd in Open Friday, 2nd Sat., then won the Open class Sunday.....but Bred By went Winners, and I went Reserve Winners. But.....we all had a good time, except I'm exhausted and have to get ready for work now, with three days of work backed up on my desk. And...I haven't even been able to catch up on all the posts on the board.
Just wanted to tell all I'm still alive and kicking, and what a pleasure to meet Anna. Now I've met two board people, Anna and Margaret who was out visiting last month. Can't wait till October to meet the rest of you..

Ok, I am going to brag a little. I am getting an Eric puppy!!! She is about 4 weeks old right now and I cant wait to get her!

Sounds like the show was a lot of fun. I went through boot camp in San Diego, tho unfortunately we were never allowed to actually see the city. But I've heard it's a beautiful place.

I can't wait for Vegas either!!! It will be great. Now if only I can find me a slot machine to spit out thousands of American dollars to spend in Canada it would be even better.

You know I enteried Benya for show in Pomona for Friday & Saturday. Somehow, they register me on Sunday & Monday..

Bobbie pulled Eric to the ring Sat. morning, and finds out he wasn't entered. Later back at the motorhome, we called Richard....he had only entered him for the Specialty Friday, somehow the message had got crossed about entering him the other two days.....So, Eric got to stay in the motorhome....But, Bobbie did finish the bitch she was showing on Saturday, and I showed her in the Breed class Sunday because Bobbie had the male special. I made the cut....she had to walk....lol..
How about pooling the money and playing Megabucks?
And split 20 or 30 million????

That must have been one exciting night! Maybe we can recapture some of that gambling luck in October? One of us is bound to win something. I'm keeping my fingers crossed

I want to thank Patti for her advice before we went to the ring. She was very nice to us and gave us a lot of support. It was very nice to meet her finally.
I really sorry that I couldn't stay all 3 days, but I had a great time anyway. I was very excited over Benya win. It was our only second show...

The most I've won...
is a jackpot for about $6500....on one jackpot. But, one night I was hot, hit a $1000 royal flush on video poker, took a $100 of that and went to the dollar video poker machine and hit a royal there for $4,000, and while waiting for them to pay me, moved over to the next machine, and hit another royal for $4000. That was a few years ago....
