I've gone there alot over the years. They usually hold the record for the biggest, faster, steepest coaster in existence. If another park builds something grander, Cedar Point immediately begins plans to surpass it. Known world-wide for their incredible coasters.
I haven't been there for a few years, but my mom told me about the new ride and I heard it on the news as well.
Montana has no amusement parks. There's one in Spokane, Washington and one just north of Salt Lake City. Those are the closest to us.

I'll have to think about it (or take a tranquilizer first). I'm not good with high-rise buildings (plenty of them in Cleveland, none in Montana). Love coasters ... but from the top of a high-rise? I'm not so sure about it.
I have a back that goes out often, so I'm hesitant to try them again. When we did the Primm one, it was fun, a blast, but boy, did the sharp jerks and turns hurt my back.

Been there done that on the two roller coasters!! So, I will pass on the rides, me and webbie will be keeping the cocktails reserved for all of you! That is, IF you are up to having a few once you get off of those rides! =)
One planned event while in Las Vegas is to go to the Stratosphere to the BIG BANG, which is on top of the tower, over 1000 high. Then, we go to New York New York hotel and all ride the roller coaster that goes inside and outside the hotel. Then, while you are resting from that, we ride out to Primm, about 40 miles, and ride the roller coaster there, supposedly has the highest drop for a roller coaster.
After that, back to the hotel for drinks and food!!
Cedar Point is in Ohio .....

I'm going to have to go to Cedar Point some day
It sounds like a great place. Do you have any photos of prior visits?
I do ... but would have to scan them.
That requires husband's help and he's at work. I'll try to recruit him later!
